Woodland Closure Notice − Exciting new Equipment Coming!
For those of you who regularly use the lovely wood behind The Willow Centre, next week (Tuesday 23- Friday 26 April) it will be closed whilst we install new play equipment. The field will still be open for your enjoyment.
This is the beginning of an exciting new project -an accessible activity trail for this area – which will be completed over the summer. At this stage, several pieces of wooden equipment will be installed to make a trail through the woods. Later on in the summer, trod paths to the woods, and two pieces of fully accessible equipment will be placed just outside the woodland entrance.
Once the equipment is installed in the woods, they will be reopened. The equipment will be placed around the edges of the existing path and in natural alcoves, and so won’t interfere with your walks. In fact, with the bark we plan on adding to the natural paths, walks should actually be more enjoyable!
